London: Big G Tasting reaches out to UK Wine Scene
Buyers, sommeliers, media and wine educators followed the 'Wines of Germany' invitation "The Big G Trade Tasting". Over 100 trade visitors met producers and importers to taste some of the best contemporary wines from the 13 German wine-growing regions.
With a focus on sparkling wine, lighter styles, dry Riesling and Pinot grape varieties, Big G gave multipliers of this important export market fascinating insights into wine creations and trends from Germany.
The star guests were Master Sommelier Isa Bal and Peter McCombie, who both offered master classes to the expert audience. Additionally, Shane Jones (DipWSET) expertly moderated a fully booked tasting for WSET trainers.
